Rep. Park Jong-bong proposes policy to advance English education
Park Jong-bong, a lawmaker from Daegu's Dong-gu, delivered a five-minute speech at the recent district council meeting, emphasizing the need for an English library using AI. As English education is becoming more important in the globalized world, Park argued that a library that incorporates AI technology would greatly benefit local residents.
“AI-based libraries can help residents improve their English skills by supporting personalized learning and providing a variety of English materials,” Park explained. He added that such a library would also have a positive impact on the local economy.
“English is an essential language in the international community, and by utilizing AI technology, we can create a more efficient learning environment,” said Park, emphasizing the urgency of building an English library for the future of Dong-gu.
He suggested that the project be implemented in cooperation with the ward office, emphasizing the need to gather opinions from local residents to come up with a concrete plan. Representative Park Jong-bong's comments are expected to have a significant impact on education policy in Dong-gu in the future.
